At 11:00 AM in the morning on Wednesday, November 3, citizens and residents across the UAE will celebrate Flag Day. Flag Day was celebrated for the first time in 2013. The idea was proposed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, to celebrate the accession of Sheikh Khalifa as the President of the UAE in 2004. It is celebrated every year on the anniversary of this day, November 3. This is the ninth year that this annual celebration has been held.
